Following reports of harassment and a toxic work environment, Daniel Snyder (owner of the NFL’s Washington Commanders) worked to discredit claimants and “offer up an alternative target for the investigation.” Allegations not only included misconduct (by a coach, Snyder, and perhaps others), but also the organization’s failure to appropriately address the misconduct allegations. Most recently, Snyder seems to be dodging a deposition with the U.S. House Oversight Committee on the subject.
